Naksha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA)

On 15 August 2024, an anti-drug awareness programme was organized at C.V.M Higher Secondary School, Vandazhy, as part of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA). The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Chakingal Prasad, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. The primary objective of the programme was to raise awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to promote the importance of building a drug-free society.

During the session, it was explained that the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, implemented by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, has grown into one of the country’s largest anti-drug awareness campaigns. Through this initiative, more than 23.22 crore people, including 7.82 crore youth, 5.25 crore women, and 17.11 lakh educational institutions, have been reached through 7.39 lakh awareness activities supported by over 20,000 Master Volunteers.

The session focused on the increasing use of drugs among children and youth, the decline in the age of first-time drug use from 16–17 years to 13–14 years, and the growing concern over drug abuse and trafficking in Kerala. The programme also highlighted the importance of initiatives such as ORC (Our Responsibility to Children) and Vimukthi, while emphasizing the vital role of parents, teachers, and society in guiding children towards a healthy lifestyle through sports, arts, science, and other constructive activities.

Owning a home is one of the greatest dreams in every person’s life a dream that represents security, dignity, and a better future for the entire family. However, due to financial hardships, Mr. Dhanesh was unable to fulfill this lifelong dream. Understanding his situation and recognizing the importance of providing hope during difficult times, Samaja Seva Sangham extended financial assistance to support the construction of his new home. The financial contribution was officially handed over by the Chairman of Samaja Seva Sangham, Shri Chakingal Prasad Sir, reaffirming the organization’s unwavering commitment to serving those in need.

At Samaja Seva Sangham, we firmly believe that true social service goes beyond providing temporary relief it is about empowering individuals and families to build a secure and self-reliant future. A home is much more than a physical structure; it is a place where dreams are nurtured, children grow with confidence, and families find peace and stability. Through this humble contribution, the organization is honored to become a small part of Mr. Dhanesh’s journey toward achieving his cherished dream of homeownership.

Samaja Seva Sangham Onam Kit Distribution

This Onam, as part of the Onam Kit Distribution Programme organized by Samaja Seva Sangham Chairman Dr. Chakingal Prasad Sir distributed Onam Kits to several deserving families. The programme was organized with a message of love and care, with the aim of spreading the joy of Onam to more families. This initiative became a meaningful helping hand to many families and stood as a beautiful example of sharing, compassion, and community support.

Guru Purnima Celebration July-29 2026

Samaja Seva Sangham proudly celebrated Guru Purnima as a heartfelt tribute to the teachers and mentors who dedicate their lives to shaping the future of society through education and guidance.

The programme was organized to express gratitude and respect for the invaluable contributions of teachers. Students, volunteers, and members of the organization came together to honour their gurus with appreciation and warm wishes, recognizing their role in inspiring knowledge, values, discipline, and character.

Guru Purnima reminds us that teachers are the guiding lights of society, helping individuals grow into responsible and compassionate citizens. Through this celebration, Samaja Seva Sangham reaffirmed its commitment to promoting respect for educators and strengthening the values of learning, service, and humanity.

The Onam celebration at Amritha Vidya Nikethan School, functioning under the Samaja Seva Sangham, was organized with great joy and enthusiasm. It was a beautiful day filled with the spirit of Onam, unity, love, and togetherness. The students added more colour and vibrancy to the celebration through their dance performances, songs, and various cultural programmes. The active participation of teachers and parents along with the students made the celebration even more memorable. Various Onam games and fun-filled activities were also organized, creating moments of laughter and happiness among the children. The celebration was made even more special with a traditional Onam Sadhya, which everyone enjoyed together. Filled with love, friendship, happiness, and unity, the Onam celebration became a beautiful and unforgettable memory for the students, parents, and teachers.

Independence Day Celebration – August 15, 2026

Amirtha Vidhya Nikethan School

Amirtha Vidhya Nikethan School, functioning under Samaja Seva Sangham – Social Service Society in Kerala, celebrated Independence Day with great pride, patriotism, and enthusiasm. The celebration was organized with the aim of nurturing patriotism, unity, social responsibility, and the values of freedom among students, while inspiring the younger generation to understand and uphold the true spirit of Independence.

As part of the celebration, Dr. Chakingal Prasad Sir, Chairman of Samaja Seva Sangham and the person leading and managing Amirtha Vidhya Nikethan School, hoisted the National Flag and officially marked the beginning of the Independence Day programme. As the Tricolour proudly rose into the sky, the entire school campus was filled with a deep sense of patriotism, pride, and unity.

The celebration continued with beautiful dance performances, patriotic songs, and various cultural programmes presented by the talented students of Amirtha Vidhya Nikethan School. Their energetic and graceful performances showcased their talent, confidence, creativity, and love for the nation. Each performance added colour and enthusiasm to the celebration while beautifully reflecting the spirit and message of Independence Day.

Environment Day Celebration & Educational Support
